Wayne Gretzky will be a terrific host at his dinner party. Wayne was born in Brantford, Ontario. He is 50 years old and a retired NHL hockey player, known as The Great One. He played NHL hockey with the Edmonton Oilers, the Los Angeles Kings, the St. Louis Blues, and the New York Rangers. He played in the 1998 Olympic Games in Nagano, but Canada only placed fourth. As a player he was known to be smart and speedy. He set lots of NHL records and won four Stanley Cups. After he retired he became a coach and executive director for the Canadian men’s Olympic Hockey team. He has a wife and two kids and is living in California. I sat him beside me because I would ask questions about his hockey career. My mom and dad would be interested in discussing hockey with him because they both play. Stephen Harper also likes the game of hockey. These are the reasons why Wayne will be a terrific host the dinner party.

Stephen Harper will talk a lot at my dinner party. Prime Minister Harper is fifty-two years old. He was born and raised in Toronto, but after high school he moved to Alberta and worked for an oil company. He eventually attended the University of Calgary and earned his master’s degree in economics. He was interested in conservative politics while in university. He liked to debate politics, watch political news, especially U.S. politics. Later he joined the Reform Party in the mid 1980’s. In 1993 he ran for parliament and won. In the 2006 he became the prime minster with the conservative party. Steven Harper has a fiery temper to the media. I sat him beside Dally because Dally will act inappropriate which will annoy Stephen Harper because he is civilized man. So these are the reasons why Stephen Harper will talk a lot at my dinner party.

Christopher Columbus will be an interesting guest at my dinner party. Columbus was born in Genoa (Italy) in 1451. He died at age 54 of a joint inflammation disease called Reiter’s Syndrome. He was the oldest of five children. His father was a weaver, a gatekeeper and a wine merchant. He was a famous explorer, colonizer and navigator. Columbus’ formal education ended at age fourteen. He began sailing on trading ships as a young man. He married Filipa Moniz and had one child named Diego. He will be very interesting to talk to because he had all kinds of adventures as an explorer, colonizer and navigator. He had four major voyages and he wanted to discover a European route to Asia, but he never achieved that goal. He went to Spain and the royals there supported him on four voyages. On these voyages he brought knowledge of the Caribbean Islands, the West Indies and parts of Central America to the Spanish. On these voyages there were many adventures that the dinner party guests would be interested in. Dally would really like these stories because they are very rough and some involve violence. Some examples of these adventures are that Columbus was almost arrested for illegal trading, one of his ships crashed and split apart, some of his sailors rebelled, and he also forced natives to pan for gold and sometimes cut of their hands if they did not get enough gold. These are just a few of the adventures of Columbus. I sat Columbus near myself, Raphael, Two-Bit and my mom. I think that that everyone would like to hear his stories and adventures. He would find Wayne and the game of hockey interesting because it was not invented when he was alive. Also, he might want to ask us about the world these days and all the discoveries and wars that have happened over the last several hundred years. These are the many reasons why Christopher Columbus will be a fascinating guest.

Susan H. will be a good guest at my dinner party. My mom grew up in Unionville. She works as an English teacher in Newmarket, her favourite sport is hockey, and she is married to Jason Koulouras and has two boys. She would be a good guest at the dinner party because she talks a lot but when she does she says nothing bad. Another good reason is that she encourages other people to tell about their lives and stories. I sat her near Stephen Harper because she doesn’t like his philosophy so there will be some good debates and arguments. All these reasons show why my mom will be an excellent guest at my dinner party.

Jason K. will be an interesting guest at my dinner party. My dad grew up in downtown Toronto. He works in Connecticut, USA. His favourite sport is playing hockey, he is married to Susan Hallworth, and has two boys. He would be an interesting guest because he likes to argue about politics and history. He doesn’t like Stephen Harper’s ideas and actions, so I sat them together so they can debate. He would like talking to Wayne Gretzky about hockey and asking Christopher Columbus about history. These reasons prove why my dad will be an outstanding guest at the dinner party.

Raphael will be an excellent guest at my dinner party. He was born in York Region. He lives in Aurora and is in grade six. He likes karate and he has his brown belt. He has one brother and one sister. He enjoys music and video games and likes to go skiing in the winter. Every summer he visits a cottage for the month of August on the Lake of Bays. There he likes to swim, boat, and fish. I sat him beside Dally and Two-Bit because he would enjoy listing to the stories and life of a greaser. He also can start conversations easily and keep them going. So than these are the reasons why he will be an awesome guest at my dinner party.

Two-Bit will be a hilarious guest at my dinner party. He is 17 years old. His parents don’t care about him. He is a joker and he murdered somebody and got away with it; it says this in the book. I sat him in front of Christopher Columbus because Christopher Columbus will be annoyed by him talking and joking around. Raphael will like to hear about his adventures and Raphael is a joker too. So these are the reasons why Two-bit will be a hysterical guest at my dinner party.
